FRIDAY READS!

Hey Guys,
IT’S FRIDAY FRIDAY FRIDAY lala. Finally I have time to read again! And because of that I thought I would write a little blog post about what I am currently readin AND what I will be reading next. My current read is Legend by Marie Lu and I wanted to start this trilogy for SO long, you can’t even imagine. I started this book two days ago but only read like 22 pages, because of school. I know, I know, always the same excuse, but it is the truth. School is just keeping me busy and I hate it, but oh well. it is friday so I will not think about school!
i am currently on page 174 and I am so frustrated but in a good way. I want to know what happens next sooooo badly! You can’t even imagine. At first I was like .. meeh they just walk around and stuff but idk it just keeps me entertained at this point. I don’t really know what to think of the characters by now, but as I said I really want to know what will happen. And this will lead me to my next read, because the book I will pick up after this one is Prodigy by Marie Lu, the second book in this trilogy. I bought the whole trilogy so I can marathon it and I am so happy about it, because I could already imagine me wanting to read the second book so MUCH but not having it..well I do not have to worry about that now! ( Oh btw I really like the names of the two main characters )

READER PROBLEMS TAG!

Hey Guys,
Long time no see, I know. I actually do not have a real excuse, just school, but that is not really an excuse, because when I have time, I rather meet friends, read a book or watch a movie and that is not good. Well, it actually is good when I want to spend time with friends rather than being online, but the problem is I WANT to do blogposts, but idk. Another problem is that I have no idea what I should post, so if you have any wishes PLEASE let me know! So today you will get the Reader problems tag.
1. You have 20,000 books on your TBR. How in the world do you decide what to read next?
I do not really have a tbr, which I think is good. Because I usually only buy new books when I have finished the book I am reading. Right now I have NO book on my tbr and I am currently reading NO book, BUT a Haul will come and then I just read the book I feel like reading ..
2. You’re halfway through a book and you’re just not loving it. Do you quit or are you committed?
I quit..best example is Sense and Sensability by Jane Austen. The problem is this .. I really want to read it, because it is a well knon and well loved classic, and I am 124 pages in, but .. I just do not want to read that book anymore, because I have NO motivation :s
3. The end of the year is coming and you’re so close, but so far away on your Goodreads reading challenge. Do you try to catch up and how?
Of course I try, I am so competetive! I just spend my WHOLE weekend at home in my bed with food and sth to drink. AND I will NOT leave my bed haha, just reading reading reading.
4. The covers of a series you love do. not. match. How do you cope?
I HATE IT. I literraly hate it, I mean I can’t change it but ugh! I don’t cope with it, I am just frustrated!
5. Every one and their mother loves a book you really don’t like. Who do you bond with over shared feelings?
I just tell everyone how I feel and maybe they can convince me to like it at least a bit or they can not.
6. You’re reading a book and you are about to start crying in public. How do you deal?
I try not to cry, but .. it probably will not work, so I just LET IT GO.
7. A sequel of a book you loved just came out, but you’ve forgotten a lot from the prior novel. Will you re-read the book?
Skip the sequel? Try to find a synopsis on Goodreads? Cry in frustration?!?!?!?
I usually watch the booktalk from Christine (youtube:polandbananasbooks) and if she has not done a book talk for that book, I just start the book and see how it goes.
8. You do not want anyone. ANYONE. borrowing your books. How do you politely tell people nope when they ask?
I tell them my mom is currently reading the book or another friend has it.
9. Reading ADD. You’ve picked up and put down 5 books in the last month. How do you get over your reading slump?
I just try to not read for a while and wait until I REALLY want to read again.
10. There are so many new books coming out that you’re dying to read! How many do you actually buy?
Well that is me every day. There are SO many book I want to own and buy but I just do not have that much money ! UGH LIFE ! Sooo I read and watch many reviews and the books with the best review will be on my “to buy” list OR I just choose the book that came out the longest time ago from the ones I really want.
11. After you’ve bought the new books you can’t wait to get to, how long do they sit on your shelf before you get to them?
Usually just a few days or somethings only a few minutes/hours. I usually pick them up right away but sometimes I am just really scared to start it, so I just wait a few days.

CURRENTLY READING!

Hey Guys,
Long time no see, I am so sorry for being away that long! Well two weeks.. but school is just CRAZY! I am just so exhausted after school EVERY DAY. Since I finished The Merciless I have not read ANY book, because there was no time. I had to study nearly every day and if I did not study I just slept or spent some time with my family and friends. Another thing was that I was not really in the mood for reading because the things I read after the Merciless were all school related, so every time I tried to read a book I just could not.. Idrk. BUT then I got a package on Thursday November 6th. And I was sooo excited because I pre-ordered this book, because if you pre-ordered it it would come signed! ( Unfortunately the signature is not on the page with the name of the book, so it looks kind of lost ) Thursday was horrible, school was just not good that day so when I came home and saw this package I was SOO happy and excited to open it and that was the moment I finally was in the mood to read a book again! And the book I am talking about is The Retribution of Mara Dyer, the third and final book in the Mara Dyer Trilogy by Michelle Hodkin! Currently I am on page 144 and I enjoy it so far, but I have read some non spoiler reviews and they said some things I do not really like.. so we will see but I am optimistic. Oh I forgot to mention that the cover .. oh my! IT IS SOOOO PRETTY! How could I forget to mention that, but see for yourself!

                
That is it for today! I have NO idea when I will be able to post another blogpost but I guess we will have to wait and see! I hope you will do that with me! Bye Guys.
